Air Serbia has received two golden awards from the Association of Advertising Professionals of Serbia (UEPS) for its multi-channel brand campaign "Air Serbia - The New Wings of Europe". The Serbian carrier won the awards for "Best Integrated Campaign - Transport and Tourism" and "Campaign that promotes the Serbian marketing profession abroad". The awards were presented in Belgrade, in the presence of nearly 300 senior business leaders and industry professionals. An independent panel of judges comprising of thirteen marketing professionals recognised Air Serbia's brand campaign, among a total of 270 entries in 22 categories, for its appeal across media channels and its strong international impact. Air Serbia’s CEO, Dane Kondić, said, “Air Serbia has made strong progress in Serbia, the region and the whole of Europe during the past year and these awards bring it to a great conclusion. One of the drivers of our success, particularly abroad, was the campaign we launched in late October which has truly been effective in furthering the awareness of Serbia, Air Serbia, its product, services, values and aspirations. It has certainly been an instrumental tool in strengthening our presence across Europe". Air Serbia’s “New Wings of Europe” advertising campaign was aired both at home and abroad and to a large global viewership on the CNN International channel.

Winning a local award is no big deal, the real thing will be when they get an international one.

DeleteI agree, significance would have been greater had it been an international accolade, but nevertheless, congrats JU.
Anon at 10.22am - they already have - 1 million additional passengers, which is more than any other airline in ex-yu can say, and has far greater currency than any 'local' advertising award

Jat in 2008 had 4 commercials running. One of them was awarded but cannot remember which one it was.
